Starting in April, Upworthy is partnering with P&G, the maker of some of our favorite household products like Dawn, Pampers, and Secret to celebrate individuals who are giving back and strengthening their communities through the 2024 Acts of Good Awards. This person could be a superstar volunteer, the person who rallies the neighborhood to support the local food bank, or someone who checks in on their elderly neighbors.

In less than 10 minutes, you can help give them the chance to receive a $1,000 donation to a non-profit organization of their choice.

We will also celebrate their Acts of Good across Upworthy’s channels so that they can get even more support for their work.

Throughout the Contest Period, P&G and Upworthy will evaluate each submission using the following criteria:
  • Commitment to strengthening their community
  • Tangible and unique impact of their actions
  • Goes above and beyond their day-to-day work
  • Reflects Upworthy and P&G’s commitment to inspire postivity, inclusion and impact by doing Acts of Good to help communities grow
  • Three winners will be selected using the criteria noted above.

    Each winner will receive a $1,000 donation to a non-profit organization of their choice. Their great work will also be celebrated on Upworthy’s channels and social media.
