It's no secret that Quentin Tarantino's movies are extraordinarily violent, and "Django Unchained" is no exception. When an interviewer asks him about the link between movie violence and real violence, Tarantino really loses his composure. On the one hand, it seems like a question he should definitely have a good answer for. On the other hand, other countries have movies that are just as violent, yet have a fraction of the violent crime America has. It seems likely that Tarantino feels the question is unfair and unfounded. I think that Tarantino probably just got frustrated, but in my opinion he ought to be more willing to have the dialogue if he is going to be vigorously doing interviews about that very subject.
