I’m always stunned when I hear that people don’t understand sexual assault and rape. Consent seems like such a simple concept. Yet according to the stats (and a popular culture that somehow just can’t let go of the idea of “blurred lines”), we clearly have a major problem in this country. So the more people spreading the truth, the better. And, yeah, those people being famous — and male — helps a lot.
