Some Kids Don’t Have Enough Food. Some Don’t Have The Right Kind. Here's An Idea That Might Help Both.
Not everyone has the time, resources, and access to buy and cook healthy food for their family. And even if they do, there's still the problem of getting kids to eat it. Programs like this that involve kids in planting gardens, tending them, harvesting, and then cooking and eating the fruits (or veggies) of their labor are a step toward solving both the interest and access problems.
