Phone Booth + iPad + Corner Store = Mexico’s New Bank?
Shocking but true: 80% of Mexicans and almost 20% of Americans can't easily access a bank. That means a lot of dollars and pesos stuffed in mattresses or taken out of check-cashing places. This is where thinking outside the box can change the world: some genius with an iPad is taking an institution that’s too big to help the poor and scaling it to fit where it’s needed. Whaddaya call that—philanthropy? Capitalism? Awesomesauce?
