A Guy Committed Murder Because He Couldn’t Get A Date, And Twitter Responded In A Massive Way

Curated by

One young man who blamed women for his failure to get dates and get along with women killed six people and wounded seven more. The Internet responded in a huge way, and it's still going. The hashtag #YesAllWomen was born, and it took Twitter by storm. Millions of tweets have included the hashtag.

I have read literally hundreds of them, if not more, and I can tell you that they are chilling and eye-opening. When I mentioned the hashtag and some of the stories to my wife, she replied, "Of course ... I always carry my keys in a way that they can be used if someone attacks me. We learn that early on." For someone who considers himself a pretty well-educated and in-touch dude, it rather floored me.

Here is a map of the tweets from around the world and two of my favorite tweets, but there are so many more of these conversations happening right now on Twitter. Link to get there is below.

Hi there, internet friend. We need to talk. You're using a painfully old web browser, and frankly, it's getting a little weird. It's not safe, and we want the best for you. We think it's time to upgrade.

Download Google Chrome, and try it for a week. Don't think about it, just do it. You'll thank us later.
