It probably goes without saying that by the end of her teenage years, she'd figured out a lot about life. Now she runs the Malala Fund, which advocates for girls' education all over the world. Shahid's views on life and what we can do to if we really want to make a difference are pretty kick ass.

But in the end, they decided to donate $5,000 they'd raised for the trip to help out their community members struggling in the wake of the pandemic instead.
