Oprah starts this interview on "Entertainment Tonight" talking about how some businessmen treat her differently for one of two reasons. (Being black and gay, I can totally relate.) Then, at 1:45, she talks about the time a woman in a fancy store thought she couldn't afford something. One more time: that Oprah couldn't afford something. Don't see the problem? If a prim, sophisticated, white woman dressed to the nines walked into a boutique, would you assume that she could afford an expensive purse?
