The Special Effects Are Stunning, But The Real Science At 2:25 That Inspired It Is Truly Astonishing

OK, so this is kind of the coolest thing. In 2004, the European Space Agency launched a probe on a 10-year mission to track down and land on a comet for the first time ever. Now that the mission is almost complete, they made this short film about it. And it's no dinky, low-budget, second-grade science-film-strip-style production. It a full-on, badass, Hollywood spectacle starring an actor from "Game of Thrones." The word "awesome" gets thrown around a little too much these days, but this is undeniably awesome.
