Remember When The Banks Caused A Global Economic Meltdown? Here's A Way They Could Make Up For It.
The Robin Hood Tax is a small tax on investment banks that, if enacted, would serve like parents telling their spoiled-ass child to share a few of their abundance of toys with other kids who don't have nearly as many toys of their own. It's a small sacrifice for that very fortunate child — to give up a toy that wasn't being put to any good use — and it would mean a lot more to those other kids. Unfortunately, as this clip shows, banks react to this practical suggestion like, well, spoiled-ass children.
