So Newsweek decided to splash a sensationalist cover of rabid Middle-Eastern protesters under the headline “Muslim Rage.” It was so offensive that in no time the #MuslimRage hashtag was hijacked to sarcastically mock the cheap, tabloid nature of the magazine cover.
