Whether you're clued up on what's been happening in Egypt over the past few years or you're just delving into this fascinating country, check out this documentary trailer for "The Square." It goes behind all the headlines and follows young bad-ass activists who dig deep into the uprising.

According to the New York Times, the Egyptian authorities aren't too happy with the Egyptian public seeing it and have heavily censored and restricted it. Good luck with that, guys.

This is the trailer for "The Square," the award-winning documentary that was named by the the New York Times as one of the top five documentaries of the year AND was just nominated for an Academy Award. So no big deal, but it's supposed to be ace.

Oh, and here is that New York Times piece about the Egyptian authorities' censorship and a piece in the LA Times that says the same thing. Here is the official statement on this from 'The Square' filmmakers.

"The Square" was directed by Jehane Noujaim. It premiered Jan. 17, 2014 in all Netflix territories and in select cities within the United States. Netflix, you may prevent me from ever stepping outside, but could I *love* you any more?
