Single dad asks his daughters for fashion advice before a date and strangers on social media responded with some helpful suggestions.

The world is dark and full of terrors, but every once in a while it graces us with something to warm our icy-cold hearts. And that is what we have today, with a single dad who went viral on Twitter after his daughter posted the photos he sent her when trying to pick out and outfit for his date. You love to see it.

However, things did work out in the end. According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Carli told her dad about all of the attention the tweet was getting, and it gave him hope.

Carli's dad, Jeff, told Yahoo Lifestyle that he didn't even know what Twitter was before now, but that he has made an account and is receiving date offers from all over the world. “I'm being asked out a lot," said Jeff. “But I'm very private about that."

Disney heiress visits theme park undercover and leaves 'livid' over working conditions.

Abigail Disney is the granddaughter of the late Roy Disney, the co-founder of the Walt Disney Co. Abigail herself does not have a job within the company, but she has made some public complaints about the way things are being run and how it is effecting the employees of the company.

Disney recently spoke on the Yahoo News show "Through Her Eyes," and shared a story of how a Magic Kingdom employee reached out to her about the poor working conditions at the theme park. So, Disney went to see for herself, and she did not like what she found.

Disney reported, "Every single one of these people I talked to were saying, 'I don't know how I can maintain this face of joy and warmth when I have to go home and forage for food in other people's garbage.'"

Disney was especially upset because she felt her grandfather would not approve of these conditions. She said, "I was so livid when I came out of there because … my grandfather taught me to revere these people that take your tickets, that pour your soda."

The man currently in charge of Disneyland is CEO Bob Iger. Iger receives nearly $66 million a year for his salary, and Disney feels he is not sharing the wealth properly.

Disney told Yahoo News she attempted to discuss this issue with Iger via email. "I wrote Bob Iger a very long email, and one of the things I said to him was, 'You know, you're a great CEO by any measure, perhaps even the greatest CEO in the country right now. You know, your legacy is that you're a great manager. And if I were you, I would want something better than that. I would want to be known as the guy who led to a better place, because that is what you have the power to do," said Disney.

Author uses a brutally honest analogy to help other men understand how our culture enables sexual assault.

Apparently, she never received a response from Iger and was instead directed to HR. Oof. This isn't the first time the company has been criticized. It has also been accused of implementing sexist pay practices. However, when addressed about these sort of issues, Iger pivots to the subject of Disney's education program which helps fund its employees tuition.

I guess the Magical Kingdom might not be the fairytale world it appears to be afterall...

Mindy Kaling shared an uplifting post about 'bikini bods' and everyone is feeling the love.

Bikini season is upon us, and Mindy Kaling has something to say about it.

The actress, comedian, writer, and recent mother shared a post on Instagram, promoting body positivity and embracing everyone's 'right' to wear a bikini. The post showed two photos of Kaling absolutely slaying in a two-piece bikini, as well as a video in which she shared a story about how she came to realize that anyone should have the confidence to wear bikinis if they want.

The caption reads: "IDK who needs to hear this but…," she wrote. "WEAR A BIKINI IF YOU WANT TO WEAR A BIKINI. You don't have to be a size 0."

The accompanying video is of of Kaling talking about her experience in Hawaii, where she was inspired by the women of all body types who wore bikinis.

She says:

"My very best friend in the world, Jocelyn, is from Hawaii, and I would go and visit her when I was in college, and what I was struck about Hawaii is that everybody wears bikinis," she recounted. "It does not matter what your body type is. You rock a bikini cause you're in Hawaii. And there's so much body positivity there that I, who was always really shy about my body, would wear bikinis."

Kaling adds that she prefers high-waisted bottom bikinis, as they are more flattering for her figure, and encourages her followers to share their bikini pics with her.

Naturally, people were inspired by this uplifting message.

Judge claims teen rapist should be given leniency because he 'comes from a good family.'

This is not ok.

A family court judge has continually shown leniency to a 16-year-old boy who raped a 16-year-old girl because he is "from a good family," who "put him into an excellent school where he is doing extremely well," according to the New York Times. The judge also said that it should have been explained to the victim that pressing charges would ruin the boy's life.

The assault happened at a pajama party in New Jersey, where the victim was heavily intoxicated. The boy filmed himself penetrating her from behind, and sent out the video he took as a text with the words, "When your first time having sex was rape." In the video, the girl's head is seen hanging down, and her torso exposed.

But Judge James Troiano said this wasn't rape, claiming rape is something that is reserved for cases where the victim is held at gunpoint. This, he claims, is sexual assault, and should be treated differently.

So when the prosecutor put in a motion to try the boy as an adult, Judge Troiano denied it, saying, "He is clearly a candidate for not just college but probably for a good college."

Prosecutors detailed the rape, saying before the assault, a group of boys sprayed Febreze on her backside and slapped it so hard that she had hand prints on it the next day. Following the assault, her friends found her vomiting on the floor, and she was driven home by a friend's mother.

The victim, who has asked to remain unnamed, woke up confused by her torn clothes and bruising, but told her mother that she feared sexual things had happened to her.

In addition to claiming there is a distinction between rape and sexual assault, Judge Troiano has claimed that the video and text message this teen boy sent his friends -- where he himself calls what he did "rape" -- is "just a 16-year-old kid saying stupid crap to his friends."

Judge Troiano has been rebuked by an appeals court with a 14-page ruling that calls out the judge for showing bias towards privileged teenagers. Sounds about right.
