Watch A Famous Actress Play Every Black Woman Alive Right Now On 'SNL'
In case you missed it, "Saturday Night Live" has come under fire for not having a black woman on its cast since Maya Rudolph left in 2007. In fact, they've only had four out of the 137 cast members since the start of the show. To make matters worse, Kenan Thompson said, "It's just a tough part of the business ... like in auditions, they just never find ones that are ready." I guess they haven't been able to find many since the show started in 1975...I thought the point of a sketch comedy show is to have actors who can represent the world we live in so there's not a Shakespeare-Globe-Theater-every-lady-is-played-by-a-dude situation. Apparently "SNL" doesn't agree.
