The family in this commercial looks a lot like my family, and that makes me happy. Know what doesn't make me happy? The fact that Cheerios had to disable the comments on this YouTube video because there was so much outrage that they'd dare show an interracial family in their commercial. C'mon, Internets! It's 2013 and we're better than that. Know what makes me happy again? That Cheerios is standing behind this commercial. They told Gawker, “At Cheerios, we know there are many kinds of families and we celebrate them all."I'm suddenly craving a bowl of cereal.
