It's not easy to bring levity to an issue as serious as this one, but with Funny or Die on the job, I wouldn't have expected any less. But let's not forget that gun violence is a serious and devastating problem:
In 2013, there were 11,208 gun-related homicides in the United States.
And despite a strong majority of Americans showing support for universal background checks, Congress has failed to pass a law that would achieve that.
Allowing states to decide how to handle gun safety laws is ... not smart.
Take Massachusetts, for example. They have some of the toughest gun laws in the country, which has reduced gun ownership rates. Yippee! Right? Well, you know there's a "but." Mary Elizabeth Dallas of CBS News writes:
