Farmers These Days Look Different Than They Used To. We Can Thank This Photographer For Noticing.

It sort of seems embedded into our brains: Think of a farmer, and most often a man comes to mind. Right? It's hard to imagine women play such a huge role in farming (they're the fastest-growing demographic!) because you rarely see images of them.

That's why I think it's so awesome and important that Marji Guyler-Alaniz is taking matters into her own hands by launching FarmHer, a project to better reflect what farming looks like today. Your image of a farmer may never be the same.
