Vet's hilarious impersonations of different pet breeds that visit her office are so spot-on

“I ate some socks the other day, like 12 of them…but I really do feel fine!”

Every pet is unique, but certain breeds do have their own personalities.

We like to think that our fur babies have their own completely unique and individual personality. But just ask any veterinarian that spends all day interacting with a variety of animals—and they’ll tell you that each breed tends to have its own set of quirks.

Just take it from Dr. Molly Brinkmann, who is delighting viewers on TikTok with her spot-on impressions of the different pet breeds that check into her office on a regular basis. She not only nailed the stereotypical attitude of each breed, but what they are most likely going to need a vet visit for in the first place.

Brinkmann began with common dog breeds.

First, there’s always upbeat, if not a little derpy Labrador or Golden Retriever who comes in without a care in the world. These dogs are most likely in for eating something they should have. In this pretend dog’s case, it’s socks.

“I ate some socks the other day, like 12 of them…but I really do feel fine!” Brinkmann says.

The nervous German Shepard, on the other hand, is having a “butt problem.” Yup that checks out.

Meanwhile an Aussie who bursts through the door has been running for 45 miles a day, and can’t stop despite having an injury. “I need to know how I can fix this ASAP.”

Then, a poor little anxious Doodle comes in with an emotional support toy while coming in for itchy ears, followed by a prim and proper Cavalier who requests that the vet not mess up their freshly done hair while getting their “anal glands expressed.”

Lastly a French Bulldog comes in with all the problems— itchy skin, a sore back leg, watery eyes and quite possibly a urinary tract infection. This dog comes to the vet so often that it gets a frequent flier card.

All in all, pet parents felt like Brinkmann’s impressions were flawlessly accurate. Not to mention hilarious.

“My golden ate an entire pan of brownie and we had to get his stomach pumped. He was thrilled and cheerful through the whole ordeal,” one person wrote.

“If you don’t like having money, get a bulldog!” chimed another.

For round two, Brinkmann got even further into character as she portrayed everything from a snippy Chihuahua who’s miffed to be waiting for three minutes to a forgetful Bernese Mountain Dog who cannot get it together as they rummage through their purse for an insurance card (not sure is Brinkmann is making a point about Bernese Mountain Dogs here, or Bernese Mountain Dog owners).

And yes, she finally threw a “spicy cat” into the mix. Complete with shades, knife, and attitude.

In fact, Brinkmann did yet another follow-up video focused solely on her cat patients.

There’s the Tuxedo cat who can’t sit still, the male orange cat who acts like he owns the place and constantly flirts, the Persian with resting frown face, the hot-tempered Tortie who trusts no one and the forever-kitten Bengal who has no idea how to use its inside voice.

Looks like Brinkmann has been having fun with vet impressions for a while now. Her TikTok account is filled with videos showing how different breeds act at Christmas parties, amusement parks, getting groomed, greeting their owners at the door, you name it. And while there is a lot of dog content, she doesn't leave the kitties out. And it’s clear she has equal love for every breed she impersonates.

A Golden Retriever mistook his owner's cherished coat for a toy and pure chaos ensued

Grissom was in ful-on tug-of-war mode.

Golden Retrievers have a reputation for being good-natured, friendly, reliable dogs, making them ideal family pets. But even the most affable of good doggos turns into a die-hard tug-of-war warrior when presented with a furry pull toy.

That's a bit of an issue when they mistake the fur lining of a coat hood for a toy—and even more of an issue when the coat is attached to a human.

Dog owner and TikTok user @justttmakayla shared a hilarious encounter with Grissom, her Golden Retriever, that was captured on her Ring camera. In the video, Grissom grabs hold of her coat hood, perhaps heroically saving her from the squirrel that was clearly attacking her, or perhaps assuming she was offering it to him as a toy (because why else would fur exist?). Once he had a hold of it, the tug-of-war began.

"No one prepares you for what to do if this happens!" the woman exclaims as Grissom takes hold of her hood. "This is not how I want to go out, Grissom!"

She tries to wrestle the hood away from the dog, but as anyone who has played with a dog could anticipate, that just makes him pull back. It doesn't take long before she collapses into peals of laughter as her tail-wagging pup takes her for a ride around her deck.

People in the comments, for the most part, were in stitches right along with her.

"Grissom was really doing all of this just to hear the laugh," wrote one commenter on Instagram. "He succeeded 😂😂😂😂."

"Her laughter is so infectious, it's hard not to smile hearing it 🥰," shared another."

"I just couldn’t stop laughing once she started," added another. "I think it’s her ability to see the absurdity and humour in the situation maybe? Whatever it is ❤️❤️."

Someone else wrote a brief ending to the story: "😂 …..And she died laughing with her best friend…"

But a few expressed concern that the dog wasn't going to let go, citing bad behavior and dangerous habits. However, as others pointed out, at no point did he appear to be aggressive. His body language is playful, and he even lay down to take a break from what he apparently thought was a pretty fun game right in the middle of it. She clearly wasn't afraid, and if she hadn't been laughing hysterically, she probably would have thought to take the jacket off to free herself.

Most people, however, simply delighted in the joy of a human enjoying a silly moment with her dog. And the woman herself addressed some of the concerns in a follow-up video in which she shared some terrible comments people have left calling for her to be violent with Grissom, writing, "Owning a reactive dog isn’t easy. It requires a lot of patience and a lot of training. But we are a team and Grissom is the best dog with the most loving heart."

She also shared how she has been working with Grissom with a great deal of love and patience to work through his reactive tendencies:

She and Grissom do make a good team, and if her laughter is any indicator, there's plenty more fun to be had for these two.

Ellie the Golden Retriever has gone viral with her adorable mastering of hide-and-seek

Golden Retriever beats her humans at hide-and-seek.

Dogs can sometimes act like doofuses, whether it's eating a sock and doing the poop of shame later or trying to pretend they didn't rifle through the trash while sitting in front of the evidence. Dogs are also pretty smart and hilariously entertaining, especially when you teach them a fun trick, which makes up for their brief lapses in judgment.

A Golden Retriever named Ellie has learned one of the cutest tricks yet: hide-and-seek. In a video posted by The Dodo on Facebook Watch, you see Ellie's parents finding difficult places to hide. And by difficult, I mean opening up the couch storage area and climbing inside to see if the dog's nose can sniff them out.

Ellie's way too smart for their shenanigans and continuously finds each hiding place within seconds. But it's unclear if she's finding her parents or if she's just searching for her favorite toy.

Every time one of her parents hid, they were holding a little pink stuffed dog toy. So maybe she was just on the hunt for her toy and couldn't care less about finding the human hiding behind clothes in the closet for some unknown-to-Ellie reason. Either way, it seems her adorable game of hide-and-seek got a lot of people in the feels reminiscing about their own dogs.

"I had a border collie that loved to play hide and seek with the neighbor children! It was SO adorable!!!" one commenter wrote.

"Our golden used to be the best!! He could find anything/anyone fast!! He loved it!" another person wrote.

"Best video I’ve seen in ages! The love between you shows. I love it!" a different commenter said.
