Why You Shouldn't Want To Know Any More About The Boston Marathon Bombers
Reddit user TheFletcher offers a pretty great point about the craze that consistently sweeps the American media after a terrorist act. Who was the attacker? What were they like? What kind of cologne did they wear? Delving deeply into these questions is the verbal equivalent of straining for a better look while driving past a car wreck, but worse than that, it immortalizes the attackers rather than the victims. I'm not saying it's completely out of line to want to know anything about the suspects, but it is important to remember the right people.
