My sister told me about this news while adding that she wishes people would stay out of other people’s personal lives. I agree with her, sort of — but in this current social landscape, I think coming out is really a selfless act.
In addition to getting reporters off her back (prime example at 3:00), I hope Ellen Page realizes how her coming out will benefit the many kids struggling by themselves, not knowing whether they’re worthy of love — which, of course, they are.
