This vid is from 5 years ago and from the looks of her FB page, Happy Lady is still quite happy and has a job.
Background on video: I saw Erica “Happy Lady” McElrath one afternoon dancing in front of Wells Fargo Brokerage headquarters in St. Louis. It was a day when the stock market took a tumble and people were on edge. She was waving, singing, laughing and dancing bringing a smile to most everyone who drove by. I asked her to tell me her story. She explained that she had recently been let go from her job as a hospice nurse and after 15 years of helping people die, she now wanted to help them live. I asked if I could make this short film to capture her amazing spirit.
