What Some In Canada Want Made Mandatory Is More Sensible Than Anything I’ve Seen In A Long Time

In June 2012, the campus of the University of Alberta in Canada was rocked by a gunman killing three of his coworkers and critically injuring another.

One of the underlying factors in the shooting was mental illness on the part of the shooter, Travis Brandon Baumgartner. The fact that he didn’t seek help is something that Teamsters Local 362, which represents the guards who also work there, would like to change.

This video is about Canada, but we can make some of the same changes here in the USA. And we must; hearing these stories from survivors and families of those killed is something I’d rather not experience ever again.
