The Taliban Made Life Ugly. Now Her Life Is All About Creating Beauty.

These two young women are budding jewelry makers in Kabul, thanks to the Turquoise Mountain Institute for Afghan Arts and Architecture, which runs training programs in traditional Afghan crafts. Their work is beautiful, but it’s nothing compared to the gorgeous glimmers of hope and possibility in their faces.
