The worst part is, it’s because she’s too skinny. Yes, that’s right. The media has pressured women and girls into being so skinny that they actually have to be digitally fattened in Photoshop to hide the unhealthy and often unattractive side effects of extreme thinness.

DISCLAIMER: Look, I know it’s not healthy for anyone to be pointing out flaws in other people’s bodies — skinny or fat or anywhere in between — but when the media feeds us such altered images, I feel it’s important to make sure people can tell the difference between what’s real and what’s unattainably fictional.
