Imagine how many soldiers died every time the colors changed. This is one of the first videos I’ve seen that conveys the scale and devastation of war without showing a single human being.

CLARIFICATION: This video shows Finland joining the Allied forces in 1945. Finland signed a deal to end its war with the Soviet Union, but it was never occupied by any Allied forces, nor did it technically join the Allies. You can read more about Finland’s WWII bad-assery here.
