While the dude above has a really good point, I want to point out that there’s a good bit of overlap between racism and sexual assault. Over their lifetime, women of color are the victims of attempted or completed sexual assaults at much higher rates — 34.1% of Native American/Alaskan women and 18.8% of black women. 52% of sexual assault perpetrators are white.
