I tracked down John Seaman to find out more about Kellie’s story, and this is what he told me:
“On May 23 Kellie (5 months pregnant at the time) her friend Jeremy Price, and my seven month old grandson Jeremiuh were coming home from a family cookout when a drunk driver ran a red light and struck their PT Cruiser on Jeremy’s side. Jeremy was killed, Jeremiuh received a traumatic brain injury, Kellie received the same and lost the baby. The baby died from blunt force trauma to the head inside her belly.
“I put this video together because I want people to realize how horrible their decision to drink and drive can be, not for them but the other people involved. They need to see the results of the crime before they commit it. We have a blog for victims and their families where donations can now be made. God bless all of you that care, please don’t let anyone drive drunk. The pain in my heart is more than anyone should have to bear.”
