Bringing a child into the world is supposed to be a cause for celebration. But when you’re so used to things going wrong in childbirth or shortly after, grief often takes over instead. That’s been the case here for a looong time. But it’s starting to change, and it’s super neat to see why.

As he points out, “that doesn’t tug on the heartstrings in quite the same way … [but] in the end, it’s, maybe, an even better sign because good health records are vital to good health care.” And that’s just as heartwarming, if you ask me.
