As the gay child of two very religious parents, I’ve learned that there are two ways I can bring up my love life: 1. The “Vague Pronoun” Method; or 2. the “Mention Anything and Ruin Everyone’s Day with the Inevitable Argument That May End in a Slammed Door or a Skipped Holiday” Method. That’s no way for a family to remain healthy.

Luckily for us, Stef Foster (Teri Polo) from ABC Family’s “The Fosters” knows just what to say to her father (Sam McMurray) who doesn’t keep an open dialog with his kid. Share this if you want people to see things from another perspective.
