Nobody Else Showed Up For Work At The Nursing Home, But These Two Guys Didn’t Quit

I’d like to think this would be a no-brainer for me. The fire department and sheriff showed up three days later to take over; this incident led to the California Residential Care for the Elderly Reform Act of 2014.

When these guys showed up for work, there was a sign on the door that said “Closed for business.” The problem was, there were 16 residents still living there, many with serious issues such as dementia. (I mean, really … who just abandons people like that?!)

They stepped up like true heroes.
