I’m an academic and a journalist who writes about gun culture, masculinity, violence, and politics. I teach at Swarthmore College and soon will be a Henry R. Luce Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU’s Center for Religion and Media. I live outside Philadelphia with my wife and a very vocal cat. I blog at Carte Blanchfield.
