Jacalyn Wetzel
I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, a proud first-generation daughter of Indian immigrants, which means I can make both saag paneer and buttermilk biscuits from scratch. Author of “The Pomegranate King,” I’m currently at work on my second collection of essays, “Making Space: On Parenthood, Family, and (Not) Passing.” I teach high school English in Texas with my wife, Jill, and our son, Shiv.
