There's no doubt about it: Raising the minimum wage isn't just a matter of economic justice, it's also a women's equality issue — especially since close to 60% of minimum-wage earners are women, many of them with children. And guess what? If we raised the minimum wage, it would move many of them off of SNAP and other social services. Win-win, right?
