Wayne LaPierre, the CEO of the National Rifle Association, recently denounced universal background checks. Maybe he should talk to their old, more reasonable CEO, Wayne LaPierre, circa 1999, before he does something hasty. The folks at Demand a Plan ran an ad at the Super Bowl to make sure he listens to himself.
