That Awkward Moment When You Realize You Just Destroyed Your Career On National TV [VIDEO]

As a black man who's grown up in a predominantly white city in a much-more-so-then predominantly white country, I'm not so much horrified by this latest example of black-on-black media crime as I am amused. It's a rare day when I agree with a bombastic contrarian like ESPN's Stephen A. Smith (1:25) but today's that day. Watch a journalist light his own career on fire by discussing pro football player Robert Griffin III ("RG3") with a staggering amount of insensitivity, ignorance, and indecency.

While still a career-defining mistake, Rob Parker  tweets an apology. Hopefully the time off gives him time to reflect on the absolute absurdity of his comments so that the sentiments behind them disappear from the national discourse forever.
