Emily fell in love with a man named Pedro. They got married and had an adorable little kid. Pedro had come to the States when he was 8. His family was here legally and seeking permanent residency. His mother had memory problems, made an error in her hearing, and was denied permanent residency. The feds still had a work visa for Pedro and sent it to an old address (despite having sent previous visas to his current one).
