Call the Senate switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your senator. Make your voice heard before it's too late (be very civil when you do call.) Then tweet and share this so everyone else can make sure some sanity returns to Washington.

Ninety percent of Americans agree on universal background checks for all gun purchases. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has stated he will keep them in the gun bill but doesn't think he'll have the votes to pass it. So these Americans decided to ask why.
