People Really Need To Stop Judging Other People On What's In Their Pants

With marriage equality on the rise, the American people are doing some fantastic things in the name of equality. The inherent problem with simplifying marriage equality to gay marriage, however, is that groups that desperately need equality have fallen by the wayside. 

Example time: Ultra-violent crimes against transgender women have gone up with a colossal 44% of the hate-related murder victims in 2010 being trans women. How can we help lower these numbers? By taking the time to understand what so many people currently don't.
